Amen to That

Last night, as I was leaving a bar/restaurant in midtown where I had had dinner with my cousin, I overheard the following earnest and somewhat inebriated exchange between a woman and her two friends. One of the friends was saying something like, "But don't you think you're being a little hard on him?"

The woman's response? "When a guy cheats on you and then takes a check from your father, you don't forgive him."
