Weekend Activities in Very Few Words

Family wedding with my sister yesterday, which was Saturday. Fun but exhausting. It involved traveling by commuter railroad with cabs on both ends of the trip. Lots of dancing. Emotions. Negotiating the uncomfortable shoes and the dressy clutch purse that is crammed to the hilt but still can't hold everything you need.

My sister stayed over at my apartment last night, which was fun, and today we, and my nephew, took my older brother out for his birthday, which was earlier this week. I have been returning to bed for long naps--before we went out today and after--but I still feel like I am walking around under water.

I did manage to finish grading the midterms (see previous post), though now I have two other sets of papers to grade and give back in the next couple of days, before class ends on Tuesday. Then a trip next weekend for which I would like to prepare. So I am a little stressed, but I know somehow everything will get done.

That's all.

I remember the exhaustion of traveling out of town for a wedding via 2 or 3 modes of trasportation.

And I wasn't even dealing with uncomfortable shoes and a dressy clutch purse!
