Working on it (sort of)
I have been to a major academic conference in another city and back, celebrated Hannukah, Christmas, and New Year's, and, nope, I am still not finished grading my students' research papers from the fall semester. Is there any hope for me?

Clearly, you are a perfect fit for academia. You have the procrastination routine down perfectly.
I am working on the last of them now. Of course I had to take a break to book a plane ticket for a little getaway to Boston next weekend. Hey, it was urgent--the fares might have gone up if I waited another half hour. Okay, back to grading....
